She was buried on 25 January 1915 in Boroondara Cemetery, Kew, Victoria, Australia.

He married Fanny Napper, daughter of James Napper and Elizabeth Phelps, on 9 March 1862 in the parish church, South Petherton, Somerset, England. He and Fanny emigrated from Southampton, Hampshire, England, on 17 March 1862. He and Fanny arrived in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on 9 July 1862. Simeon made his will on 23 March 1910. He was living at the time at Neave Street, Hawthorn, Victoria, Australia. Simeon died at age 78 on 4 July 1918 in Hawthorn, Victoria, Australia. He was buried in 1918 in Boroondara Cemetery, Kew, Victoria, Australia. Probate of his will was granted to Henry Ashmore Scott in Victoria, Australia, on 4 September 1918.

He appeared in the Tasmanian census of 31 December 1847 at George Street, Launceston.
